The Gio My daycare center was buit in 2019 with the finanancial support of the D.O.V.E. Fund’s
friend at Harbour Ridge. Thanks to this new spacious campus, the quality of education
and caring have been improved significantly. This school year, there are 107 students
attending school. Teachers have been trying so much to make school campus
beautiful for a better educational enviroment.
In 2023, the school asked for support from the D.O.V.E. Fund to create a vegetable garden
to teach the children how to grow food and to also use the vegetables in the school lunch
program.
For all of the kindergarten children, they really became involved when they started
to grow their vegetables for their daily meals for the school.
Gardening is also a healthy, fun activity for children. There is a variety of
interesting activities children can be involved in, such as planting, mulching,
weeding and cooking.
