In Vietnam, the legacy of the war continues with the suffering among
innocent bystanders of the conflict more than 50 years ago. Agent
Orange, a powerful herbicide was used to clear dense jungle foliage
and eliminate enemy hideaways.

|
|
|
Unfortunately, Agent Orange contained dioxin, a deadly chemical, which
has been proven to cause chromosomal changes resulting in a range of
health problems that can be passed on to future generations. Agent
Orange is persistent and has remained toxic in ground water and field
crops for generations with devastating impact to the population of Vietnam.
Early in 2019, in advance of the Tet holiday, the D.O.V.E. Fund provided
food and household staples to Agent Orange victims at the Tay Ninh Center
for Victims of Agent Orange. The aging, overcrowded building is in need
of upgrading and expansion. The D.O.V.E. Fund is committed to help ease
the pain of those afflicted with AO poisoning in Tay Ninh and is working
with officials to provide funding to improve the facilities at the Center.
|
|
Many people afflicted with Agent Orange poisoning suffer from severe
birth defects, deformed limbs, blindness, early onset cancers of all
types and disabling trauma to the central nervous system. Most of the
people are unable to work and cannot properly care for themselves and
become a burden to their families and society in general.
Below is a list of Agent Orange projects that we have worked on over
the years. If you would like to donate to a specific project.
